Text color and it’s background color must meet specific contrast requirements.

Contrast Requirements depend on text size:

• Large text must have a contrast ratio of 3:1.
  • 18 point (24px) or larger.
  • 14 point (19 px) bold or larger.
• Regular and small text must have a contrast ratio of 4.5:1.
  • Smaller than 18 point (24px).
